Tritons Advance to Super Regional at CSU Dominguez Hills
After taking the CCAA title to claim the sixth-seed in the West Regionals, the No. 24 UCSD Softball team will advance to the Regional Final against first-seed CSU Dominguez Hills this weekend, May 11 to May 12.

After taking the CCAA title to claim an automatic bid for the NCAA Division II West Regionals, UCSD has punched their ticket to the Super Regional round to be held this weekend May 11 to May 12 on the campus of CSU Dominguez Hills.

Conference Champions

No. 20 UCSD Softball Goes 3-1 With San Francisco State
GAME 1
No. 10 UCSD Softball went into extra innings with San Francisco State in the first game of the four-game series. Neither team recorded a run until the top of the eighth inning, when the Tritons loaded the bases. With junior Emily McQuaid on third base, and senior Kris Lesovsky on second, sophomore Kristin Willmon bunted to bring home the winning run. With just one out, sophomore Mya Romero flied out to centerfield to score Lesovsky.
Up 2-0, the Tritons sealed the win with an RBI single from junior Nicole Spangler.
