Undocumented students now receive access to public aid.

California legislation that would allow illegal immigrants to receive public financial aid is nearing approval. If Assembly Bill 131 takes effect, the California public university system would be open to more students and could support system-wide diversity efforts.  

Tuition increases, a chancellor departure and equal access for undocumented students have at least one thing in common — they will have an untold impact on students at UCSD in the coming year.
